Leah Martinez-Davis, MSN, RN, cscm

Leah is a registered nurse educator, a forever-in-heart neonatal intensive care nurse, and the founding executive of Pivoting Aspects, Inc.  Her nursing background includes neonatal intensive and post-partum care, infection control, adult and maternal child case management, utilization review, care coordination, nursing education, and professional development.

She acquired an Associate degree in Nursing from Cerritos College in 2004 and a Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics in 2018 from Capella University, in which she is also currently enrolled in for the Doctor of Healthcare Administration program.  She is a member of Capella University Alumni, remains a school Ambassador after graduation, and maintains professional memberships with Association for Nursing Professional Development, Association for Talent and Development, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the National Nurses in Business Association to name a few.  Her lifelong learning journey continues by being in the doctoral program, working on acquiring board certifications that will support her role in professional development and entrepreneurship, integrating innovation in her business development and growth practices, and assuming the Advisory Board and Health and Wellness Committee Chair roles for the Central Valley Senior Care Network.

After over a decade in the nursing profession and recognizing the deviation between  performance expectations and support and its negative effects in patient outcomes, patient and staff satisfaction, and potentially to the Nursing profession, she has decided to take a step into being a part of a broader solution and an exciting leap into entrepreneurship in healthcare, education, and nursing.  With a continued passion for Nursing and professional development, her business venture orbits to making big and small differences in the individual and organizational levels. She does it with the belief that every organization and profession’s greatest asset lies within its people, who are key to impacting practice and performance and the healthcare industry’s bottom line: its patients.

On a personal note, Leah believes it is important to maintain a good sense of personal well-being and balance.  She does this through activities she enjoys, such as exercising, relaxing with the family and their pets, baking, and vacationing.  Her career success is not only for those she serves but for her family as well.
